Most Impactful Experience at the Foundation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

By far the most fun, impactful experience was working with a great group of colleagues to guide them through the grantmaking process to find and choose a small nonprofit we could recommend to our Board of Directors for a $5,000 grant. We were able to bring Streetside Showers<\/a> to the attention of the Foundation and the Foundation to the attention of Streetside Showers<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I’ve picked up making custom cupcakes and perfecting “the” chocolate chip cookie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stockpiled<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Snacks for my teenager so I could work from home without nagging or complaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motivation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While working remotely, I could continue seeing my colleagues through Teams  and Zoom. Being able to have that face-to-face interaction was mentally important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communities still needed help during the pandemic, and the Foundation continued to provide funding and reached out proactively to see where we could help. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
